*Job Title : MySQL DBA* *Location : Sacramento, CA* *Duration : 6+ months* * * *Description:* * * Seeking a senior MySQL DBA with 7+ years of experience to install, administer, troubleshoot and tune multiple production and non-production MySQL environments running on Linux. This senior DBA will also work closely with multiple product development and testing teams and support them through the system development life cycle. *Primary Responsibilities: * · Install, configure and validate various versions of MySQL across multiple environments · Proactively monitor server and database process health to ensure availability and performance · Support MySQL high-availability and disaster recovery solutions · Automate DBA processes and create shell scripts to stream line and improve efficiency · Support product development and test teams through the SDLC process · Provide support for reviewing and approving schema changes · Participate in on-call DBA support rotation and provide off hours production deployment support · This position participates in the rotation for on-call production support.
