Position Description:  Experience Level: 4 year degree and 5+ years experience  


THIS POSITION MAY ALSO BE LOCATED IN ROANOKE, VA OR DENVER, CO.


Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer 
applications and programs.  Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes 
technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops 
original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced 
staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts.  
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and 
debugging of programs.  Participates in overall systems testing.  Leads the 
migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, 
participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs 
user guides. As an escalation point for application support and 
troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in 
resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system 
problems. Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction 
and guidance to less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and 
compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and 
testing of the business continuation

 

This specific position is responsible for the development, analysis and support 
of Call Center MIS reports that monitor performance and identify trends, issues 
or problems that may impact service level performance.    The incumbent may 
work with multiple reporting programs including, but not limited to, Oracle 
Hyperion Interactive Reporting, SQL Server Reporting Services or Business 
Objects for the execution of database queries, contact center reports, and 
dashboards.    

.         Develop and support daily, weekly and monthly call center MIS reports 
for end users ranging from agents to executive management

.         Develop and design new reports including managed historical reports 
and real-time dashboard reports

.         Monitor scheduled runs and resolve issues with the generation of 
reports

.         Develop ad-hoc reports as required including the creation of Excel 
pivot tables and/or the use of multi-dimensional cubes for advanced analysis

.         Identify report errors and interface with development staff to 
correct any errors in the underlying data

Providing Tier1/Tier2 customer support for reporting issues including questions 
about reports, data and metrics Assist with data validation as needed


 

Requirements  

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

.         5+ years experience

.         Advanced knowledge of SQL

.         3+ years experience with database query and reporting tools; 
experience with Hyperion Interactive Reporting, SSRS or Business Objects 

.         Knowledge of data validation

.         Strong customer relationship, organizational and analytical skills

.         Call center experience
