DESCRIPTION:
Experience with design patterns and web applications
· Strong understanding of the following items:
-Spring 3.X MVC
-Tiles 2.0
-Servlets/JSPs
-JSTL EL Syntax
-Error Handling
-Validators
-Filters
-Strong understanding of the following client side technologies/frameworks:
-JQuery 1.7
-XHTML
-CSS 1 & 2
· Basic Unix skills (SSH/tunneling, navigating Unix environment, SCP/SFTP to
transfer files)
-Ability to research and solve problems on his/her own using Google,
newsgroups, vendor support and other external resources
-Ability to analyze business requirements and identify possible gaps, missing
scenarios, etc.
-Engineer (design and code) solution in the most clear, concise and optimal way
possible based on time and other constraints
-Review existing code and recommend refactoring where applicable
-Responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of projects
-Additional skills in these areas will be considered a plus:
-PL/SQL
-Maven / ANT
-JBoss / Tomcat
-CSS 2
-CVS
-Eclipse 3.5
