*SAS Developer* *Somerset, New Jersey* *3+ Months* *Responsibilities:* - Build SAS processes to support statistical modeling and data extraction efforts using SAS macros, Teradata SQL, and Microsoft Excel VBA - Data extraction, data cleansing, data investigation and analysis supporting marketing programs - Routine interaction with multiple data sources, including relational Teradata database, Oracle database and smaller data marts. - Communicate ideas verbally and in writing to a project lead on the client side (in the US) - Translate functional requirements to technical specifications for execution. *Qualifications:* - Mandatory: At least two years of professional experience in a data mining or statistical modeling environment - A background of strong SAS & SQL experience is required, preferably on large volumes of data - Hands-on working experience with SAS Macros, having worked as SAS Application developer - Prior work experience building processes for statistical modeling, building models using Linear/Logistic regression (in Pharma domain preferred) - Domain knowledge in Marketing, Pharma, or Clinical research - MS Office suite (particularly MS Excel & Access), VBA expertise - UNIX platform & Teradata - Teradata Warehouse Miner experience - Direct Marketing, Insurance and/or Pharmaceutical Benefit Management Industry experience - Prior experience mentoring junior analysts *Thanks & Regards....**? **Astir IT Solutions* *___________________ **K.
