*Cognos Developer* Detroit/Somerset 3+ Months *Required Skills:* - 7-10+yrs of overall experience implementing BI Reporting Solutions. - 5+ years of hands on Business Intelligence development experience using the Cognos 8 toolsets - 5 years of experience using Framework Manager, Dimensional Modeling - Hands on experience with Cognos 8.3 in particular. - Experience developing complex BI reports for large user communities. - Experience with data warehouse / data mart definition to support business analysis and reporting. - SQL and MDX programming expertise. - Extensive Cube development expertise - Advanced Report Writing techniques (Conditional Formatting, Drill Through, Macros, Heavy Java Scripting is a must) - Experience with the following databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2). - Experience in performance & tuning reports and queries - Must have the ability to lead design sessions and work with business and/or IT staff to define reporting requirements, build complex business intelligence reports, dashboards, cubes and or scorecards - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must have onshore/offshore leadership experience *Desired Skills:* - Pharmaceutical or other Healthcare experience is a strong Plus - Experience using DB2 on an iSeries (AS400) is a plus - Cognos 10 experience or exposure *Thanks & Regards....**?** **Astir IT Solutions* *___________________** **K.
