I have a new position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This position
is different than the previous SAS Development positions I sent out. The
client will require a face to face interview so please be sure to send
candidates that are local to Illinois or willing to travel to Chicago for
the face to face interview.
Title: Sr. SAS STAT Programmer
Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Max Rate: $DOE per hour
Duration: 6-12 month contract
Candidate must have a statistical or economics background. SAS STAT 9.1 on a
Unix platform in the financial industry with credit scoring are all a must.
7-10 years of professional experience
SAS STAT 9.1
Strong Unix
Ability to create complex data models
Score card development
Financial industry experience and credit scoring
Strong communication skills
Model Validation and Tracking
Adhoc analysis to support projects or policy teams
Data manipulation and summarization
BS/MS Degree required in economics, statistics, math or other quantitative
area
Minimum of three years experience in financial service industry in risk
management and scoring
