Requirement: .Net Ecommerce Developer
Location: NYC, NY(only locals)
Duration: 12 Months

JOB DESCRIPTION:
. Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
. 8+ Years of experience with (ASP.NET, C#),
. Strong understanding of Web concepts (JavaScript, cookies, HTML, HTTP
protocol etc) and AJAX
. Experience designing/developing sophisticated web-based applications
(primarily in a Microsoft environment) using MVC / MVP pattern
. Strong SQL and relational database (SQL Server) skills, ability to
design/develop production database using complex SQL queries, stored
procedures, and triggers
. Thorough knowledge of technical architecture, design, and scalability
. Expert level mastery of object-oriented design and development concepts
PLUS Technical Skills (Highly desired but not required for consideration):
. Experience in developing WCF applications is a plus
. Experience in high volume web/e-commerce design, development and
implementation; experience collaborating, building, and deploying
mission-critical applications
. Experience in conducting load tests
. Expert modeling skills are highly desired (using UML)
. Knowledge of SDLC (including Agile approach)
Good communication skills; Fluency in French is a big plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Design, develop, debug, implement, and maintain high-volume e-commerce
applications in an MS .NET environment; participate in all stages of the full
development lifecycle
. Develop front-end and mid-tier functionality using ASP.NET and C#
. Create complex SQL queries as well as stored procedures and triggers (SQL
Server database)
. Liaise with various IT and business departments, both within the US and
internationally; collaborate in an international team environment
. Apply expert level knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies; quickly
learn and utilize new tools and technologies, and transfer knowledge to team
members
. Design, develop, and implement .NET applications in a high-volume
transaction-oriented web production environment
. Liaise with various IT and business departments, both within the US and
internationally; collaborate in an international team environment
. Apply expert level knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies; quickly
learn and utilize new tools and technologies, and transfer knowledge to team
members
. Mentor and develop Junior engineers.
COMMENTS:
.Net Ecommerce Developer must have lead exp w/SOA, WCF with 9 years of exp.
