ASAP * * *Position: **Automated Test Script Developer* *Location:* *White Marsh, MD* *Duration:* *3+ Months* *NOTE: Face to Face after telephonic round.* * * *** Abillity to automatically parse an XML file to validate the data inside it.* *** Ability to automate data entry in one application and run a batch job and retrieve the data in another application. * *** Ability to validate fake key entries and looking at web screens. * *** Again, this is front end automation position. * *Requirements:* · *Mercury Quality Center (QC 10.0)* · *Quick Test Pro (QTP 10.0)* · Extensive experience with test script automation – particularly with Web application testing · Working on small team (3 testers) · Ability to learn quickly · Ability to work independently * * *Responsibilities:* · Modify test cases to make them suitable for automation · Develop automated testing scripts · Most of test automation will involve exercising functions of a web front end application. Automation experience with back end data verification is useful, but experience with front end automation is essential. · There are also system-to-system interfaces, primarily using file handoffs and batch transfer jobs. This is challenging to automate.
