*Lead OBIEE Developer * *Location : Bay Area* *Duration : Long term* *Job Summary* The OBIEE Developer will be working with the Decision Support Systems team to maintain and develop OBIEE report solutions to support our EDW/BI Reporting platform. The candidate will need to understand business and technical requirements and translate this into OBIEE Repository & Report designs and deliverables. The solutions must align with EDW, Data mart and Report standards and guidelines. The reporting solutions will be based on OBIEE report platform with Oracle data warehouses/databases & Informatica for ETL platform. ** *Responsibilities* · Understand business requirements and convert them into detail technical specifications · Design & Develop RPD using OBIEE Administrator tool · Design & Develop Reports using OBIEE Answers · Performance improvement, Debugging & SQL tuning · Technical reviews, Report validation, Data validation & end to end testing · Perform end to end testing of the OBIEE Objects · Create necessary documentation as per SDLC standards *Requirements * · Minimum 8 years of experience in implementation of BI projects in a large scale enterprise data warehouse environment · Must have working experience in Oracle Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Support domains · Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC process in BI projects · Dimensional Modeling and Data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts etc · 7 years of experience in OBIEE Tool Architecture and OBIEE products especially OBIEE 10.1.3.3.1 and above · Converting functional specifications into OBIEE technical specifications · Proven hands-on experience in using OBIEE components such as RPD, Reports, Performance Tuning etc · Hands on experience with database like Oracle, MSSQL Server and database languages like SQL, PL/SQL and TSQL · Exposure to SOA, Web services, Cloud based integrations with Salesforce.com, Trillium, MySql is highly desired. · Strong SQL, PL/SQL tuning & OBIEE performance improvement skills · Working knowledge in ETL Tools will be a big plus · Excellent written and spoken communication skills *Education and Experience* · Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent OBIEE, Oracle, SQL, OBIEE App and Informatica experience a plus *Thanks & Regards....**?** **Astir IT Solutions* *___________________** **K.
