Sr. Business Analyst-
Responsibility: The main focus will be on our new web-based collaboration tools (IM, Chat…). Person will be responsible for collecting and documenting business requirements and prepare detailed requirements for development and test teams. It requires interaction with different Product teams to collate the various integration requirements and consolidate them into single priority list. Has to provide presentations and get approval from stakeholders.
This position will most likely be extended. There is also a possibility of converting from consultant to full-time employee if the person qualifies and it is mutually beneficial.
***Communication skills are of utmost importance in this role. This person has to be able to interface with all areas of the organization and work independently without much hand-holding.
Education requirement:
Bachelors Degree: Major does not matter but manager is looking mostly for analytical and communication skills
Other Technical and Professional skills:
The basics: Word, Excel, Visio. Experience in other Requirements Management tools would be beneficial to be able to recommend how we can improve our process. We use Jira, knowing that would be a plus.
Qualifications:
Analysis and Solution Definition, Requirements Management
Ø Strong analytical skills and 5+ years of experience in software requirements management
Ø Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges
Ø Identifies application and product's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
Ø Documents, reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
Ø Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements (level of technical expertise can vary).
Domain Expertise
Ø Understanding of collaborative tools and user workflows a big plus.
Ø Experience with web applications a major plus having documented detailed UI specifications and data workflows.
Ø Insight into current Web 2.0 trends, social networking and community building.
Other Technical and Professional skills:
Ø The basics: Word, Excel, Visio. Experience in other Requirements Management tools would be beneficial to be able to recommend how we can improve our process. We use Jira, knowing that would be a plus.
Ø Good understanding in core technology that enable the delivery of web applications (html 4 & 5, Ajax…)

Successfully delivered a web product.
