This candidate will be responsible for *60% Architecture and 40% Development*. Implementation experience is key because this is a brand new BI implementation, not exsisting. *We are seeking a candidate with the following background/ skills: * · Deep OBIEE experience · Strong semantic model designer · Ability to construct content with an eye toward reuse · Working knowledge or Oracle RDBMS · Ability to guide/direct less seasoned BI development resources *Daily Job Responsibility * · Ensure proper modeling and capacity planning framework is in place · Monitor Database Capacity and assist in growth estimations · Review performance as part of the development lifecycle and provide support in resolving issues · Review physical data models, data access patterns, and database design as part of the development lifecycles · Review weekly database capacity and performance reports ensuring ongoing health of database design · Lead weekly meetings *Requirements:* - Must have hands-on experience such as OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) - 2+ years of core database administration experience including installation, monitoring, maintenance, etc. - 3+ years of application and database architecture experience including designing for high availability, scalability, etc. - 3+ years of data movement using both commercial ETL products and home grown code ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
