Title: *Pacs Manager* Contract Duration: 18 months Location: San Francisco, California** *Minimum Requirements:* Solid Project Management Strong Project management tools. Knowledge of hospital departmental workflow. *Description:* Looking for a Technical Project Manager (Project Management Professional) to help implement an 18 month two-phase image archiving project Phase I: upgrade the current Radiology imaging archive system (PACS) Phase II: expand image archiving to other departments in the hospital. The hospital has had PACS in theCA Radiology department for 6 years. The hospital is in the process of upgrading the current Radiology PACS system and expanding the enterprise-wide image archive to include storage and retrieval of all digital images at the facility. In the initial phase of the project this person will work directly with the Radiology department, the IT department and the vendor on planning and installing the core servers across multiple locations. This will include data migration of images stored over the last 6 years. In the second phase of the project, the project manager will lead the effort to coordinate the needs and schedules of other departments (Cardiology, Dermatology, etc) in an effort to have them added to the enterprise-wide image archive. *Duties and Responsibilities* • Coordinate meetings, timelines, needs and goals with multiple departments • Ensure timely delivery for each phase of the project • Continually improve process; Revise work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs • Weekly reports made to the project steering committee, Hospital Administrator or their designee • Create and execute project work plans in accordance with project’s Statement of Work (SOW) *Job Detail* • Create and maintain project plans, timelines and goals • Ensure receipt of complete, accurate specifications • Coordinate Product Management with many stakeholders • Engaging teams at the appropriate times • Prioritize tasks effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally • Track team deliverables and make sure teams deliver per plan • Anticipate problems, form remediation plans before the project suffers • Run cross-departmental meetings • Detailed project documentation • Design and implement enterprise-wide education and training *Qualifications* • We are seeking a high-aptitude project manager who can lead multiple simultaneous projects • Solid knowledge of project management processes, tools, and techniques • Track record of leading teams in a stressful environment • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar tool is highly desirable • Conscientious, flexible, self-motivated and an excellent eye for details and a quick learner • Excellent oral and written communication skills • The ability to work well in a diverse team; communicate well within the team and with other groups • Experience in deploying hospital and imaging center solutions is highly desirable • Knowledge of information systems and PACS systems is highly desirable • Knowledge of hospital departmental workflow *Education* • BS or above in Computer Science or related technical field *Thanks & Regards* *Anna Jones* *TWO**95* International Inc., Phone: 856-673-0304, Fax: 856-494-1988, E-mail: [email protected] Website: www.two95intl.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
