Position: Java Developer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6 months plus
Rate: $45/hr C2C
Basic Job Function:
· Work with Business Analysts in transitioning from requirements to design.
· Work with Software Engineers to implement requirements.
· Responsible for software development including software, unit test plans,
unit testing, QA support and post-release support
Deliverables:
o Analysis and design packages (sequence diagrams, workflow analysis, data
model, etc.)
o Code conforming to documented standards
o Unit test documentation
o Release documentation
Estimates/Tracking actual to estimated effort
Other Important Notes: Skill sets required:
· Application Development (8+ years)
· Java (4-6 years), J2EE, JSP/Velocity, JDBC
· Web Services development (2 years)
· Oracle/SQL (4-6 years)
· Javascript (2-3 years)
· Unix shell scripting (2-3 years)
· ClearCase
· Process oriented
· Excellent analytical ability
· Object Oriented Development Process
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Self-starter
· XML, HTML, XSLT
· Rational ClearCase
· Oracle Business Intelligence experience a plus
· Websphere experience a plus
· Microsoft Office Applications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering
