Want a tool which will allow items to be scanned and immediately checked
against the inventory:
* Check item 'check-out' status, report items that are checked out.
* Check for all features of item noted in bug 11405
* Change 'last seen' status of item to current date/time
* I think that it would be useful to track item information at the time that
the inventory was taken; this might require a separate 'last inventoried'
table.
