It would save a lot of clicking if there were a "subscription" link to a
record's subscription in the browse list when searching in the staff client.
E.g., here/catalogue/search.pl
If those links, "Holds | Edit record | Edit items" could read something like,
"Holds | Edit record | Edit items | Subscription" to take you directly to the
subscription details (here: /serials/subscription-detail.pl?subscriptionid) so
you could receive an issue, check the subscription status, renew, that would
rock!
I know I could go right there by selecting "Serials" from the top 'More'
pop-down list, and can then search subscriptions by title, but we're already
about two clicks in, and I can only *browse exact titles* from there--with the
general search the catalog box, which is always on my screen.
