It would be a nice addition to be able to display and filter ITEMS based on the
actual material type (Books, Computer Files, Maps, Music, Continuing Resources,
Visual Materials, and Mixed Materials).
This information is taken from a specific position in the 008 control field and
is not easy to add using the 'standard' Administration › Items search fields
(The same functionality is present in the advanced search for bibs, but having
it also in the Item search would be useful in many cases)
