Yesterday I have read a bit of doc about facets and on the Terms Facet page of the ES doc ( https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/search-facets-terms-facet.html), there is a big warning on top " Warning Facets are deprecated and will be removed in a future release. You are encouraged to migrate to aggregations instead.". Did you have time to look into the terms aggregations?
