Not possible to toggle the checkin column in the issues-table in circulation
module.
A use case scenario describing why a library might want hide this column as
described by staff:
"The check-in feature doesn't work for our (mostly) floating collection. The
check in option doesn't recognize items that are locally owned and need to
route to another branch without a hold on them. This is true for some local
history materials, our book club collection, our mail order collection, and our
pacific northwest collection. SO: the risk is that our staff are using the
batch check in to save themselves time, but then aren't noticing that items
need to be transferred and so are shelving items in their locations."
Is it necessary to have this column present? Maybe the enhancement would be to
make the checkin feature better at handling these issues rather than allowing
it to be hidden.
