Why would we want to postpone a bugfix?

Why? If you enable it, Koha won't work.

I don't think it's pleasant to get lot of warnings when you upgrade your
install.
It's our job to deal with these warnings.
I think the patch I have just submitted will help us to deal with existing
columns/constraints.

NOTE that I have *not* tested this patch
