At present the Koha OPAC does not have a recommendation system which recommends
items to patrons based on what either patrons also viewed, in much the same way
that the Amazon recommendation engine does.
The patches that will be developed to provide this functionality will store
recommendation data persistently so that previous issues information does not
have to be kept in the local instance database which would violate the US
Patriot Act and French Law.
Additionally to have a greater sample size to generate the recommendations the
recommendation system will integrate with the Mana database.
