My workflow is made much easier with use of the Advanced Editor. For advanced catalogers, the Advanced Editor is quicker and easier - I write MARC records the same way I write HTML markup, which is to say I type out all the MARC fields, indicators, and subfields by hand because I use them so frequently that I know them by heart and it is much quicker to type them then to move to the mouse and select fields from a form. Being able to duplicate records in the Advanced Editor would mean being able to simply delete a line here or there and type in some new MARC fields and be able to save in a matter of seconds. To be restricted to only using the basic editor means clicking through each tab to find the group of MARC fields I want (which makes little sense when editing a MARC record anyway since fields like 490 and 800 need to match and should therefore be visible on the same screen, but I digress...) and then clicking again to manually edit or delete or duplicate that particular tag.
