In the process of generating print notices, it would be helpful if the print
notices queue double-checked the items it is e-mailing about to see if the item
is already returned or checked out, depending on the notice, just before
sending the printed e-mails to the library.
We have had times that the printed notices generated many printed notices for
holds that have already been picked up. We could have saved a lot of paper,
stamps, and staff time.
