--- Comment #10 from Andrew Fuerste-Henry <[email protected]> --- I'm still very much in favor of making this change, but: The patron emailer cron introduced in bug 16149 can be used to send a daily email to all patrons with items that have gone to Long Overdue in the past day, thereby sidestepping the regular overdues process and this issue.
