If the item has a value in 952$3 and a rental fee, only the accompanying
material message pops-up upon checkout. The charge is added to the patron's
accounting, but there is no alert.
To replicate:
1- Create an item type with a rental fee
2- Catalog an item with that item type and enter a value in subfield 3 -
materials specified
3- To compare, also catalog an item with that item type and no value in
subfield 3
4- Loan the item with materials specified to a patron; notice only the
materials specified message appears
5- To compare, loan the item without materials specified to a patron; notice
the rental fee alert
