On the circulation rules you should see a new column "Days mode" with 5 different options. In your case, I think what you need is: Set the syspref to "Push the due date to next open day" Define a circulation rule for Hourly loan and select "Ignore the Calendar" in the "Days mode" column. Note that there is a small cosmetic bug on the circulation table, the header of the table says "Unit" instead of "Days mode".
