To replicate:
1) Go to Administration > System preferences and set:
AllowStaffToSetCheckoutsVisibilityForGuarantor - to Allow
2) Load an adult patron
3) Add a guarantee, remembering to set the Relationship
4) Set 'Show checkouts to guarantors' to Yes
5) Save
6) Note that on the patron members/moremember.pl page "Show checkouts to
guarantor" is set to No
7) Edit guarantee and set 'Show checkouts to guarantors' to Yes
8) Save
9) Note that on the patron members/moremember.pl page "Show checkouts to
guarantor" is set to No
I have the same issue with the 'Show fines to guarantor' preference.
I've experimented with turning on all of the 4 System preferences with a
partial match for 'VisibilityForGuarantor' - but I can't find a combination
which works.
I've also tried adding a child patron and then adding the guarantor to the
patron (instead of using the 'add guarantee' button) - but it makes no
difference.
Tested on master on a sandbox and on 20.11.10 - it's occurring in both.
