I LOVE the concept of it, and hope it can pick up momentum again. I think leaving deleted things in their original tables with a date to flag deletion is a positively brilliant idea. It would leave links in tact where needed, and make it so easy to implement an undo feature of deletion down the road. If this project is too big, maybe it can be done in phases?
