The present way of showing the local covers on search results page will create
a huge load on server - items/page perl-processes and several users whether
staff or opac will practically make Koha stall for a good while.
Having the cover images visible on detail pages while disabling those on
general search results would have a great positive impact on server load and
still retain the functionality of showing the covers for individual items
picked from general results.
At the moment we're disabling those on page level in Koha source due server
choking.
