We noticed a problem with placing holds on lost items, including our lost
status of Trace. We currently have it enabled to put holds on lost items, and
we want to maintain that ability. That works in most places, but we noticed a
place where it seems broken. As described: "He didn't have an issue changing
the status of the item to 'Trace', but when he went through the patron's record
& used the 'search for hold' option, the item appeared without the 'Place a
hold' option at the top of the record.  We were able to place the hold by using
the 'Hold' tab on the left & looking for the patron again."

Though there is a workaround, I think that is a bug within the 'Search to hold'
option. I have a pic available of the item on trace that cannot be put on hold,
but only on this screen. Is that something we can fix?
