With the new staff design we now require 3 clicks to get to the advanced search
in the acquisition module:
* Switch to Orders search tab
* Open additional options
* Click on Advanced search link
That's one click more than in earlier versions and it makes it hard to find the
page in general.
In the serials module we have opted to display the search form right on the
start page, which got some positive feedback already.
In acq the space is more limited, because we show the budgets/funds summary
table.
Maybe we could add a link to advanced search in the first section (vendor
search) or the sidebar navigation?
