Hi,
we are considering switching to Koha from OCLC for our library. In the future,
we would like to set up a return shelf where users can also automatically check
in their media at the self-checkout and place them on an adjacent shelf.
Currently, however, there is no printout of possible reservations when
returning media, so it would be beneficial to receive a notification on the
Koha dashboard when someone has returned a reserved medium to the return shelf.
This notification should be visually prominent so that we can promptly retrieve
the item from the designated shelf and place it in a convenient location for
users to pick up.
This feature is currently missing and we would currently need to physically
touch all items to check if a returned item is being held.
This would be a valuable addition.
