David Cook <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|Passed QA |In Discussion --- Comment #155 from David Cook <[email protected]> --- Apologies for coming in this late, but I'm a bit concerned about the use of the term "train" here. Jonathan has explained the term at https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30708#c19 and I've briefly read through the "Utilisateurs"/"Users" specifications. The French PDF uses the term "Train" while the English PDF uses the term "Batch", which is a more common term in English and in Koha. I took a preservation course during my librarian degree and I'd never heard the term "train" used in the context of preservation, so I think librarians with previous preservation experience might be confused/confronted by preservation in Koha. I imagine that this might also cause some issues for translators? I've briefly moved the status from "Passed QA" to "In Discussion" as I'd like to gather some more feedback about this term... ...but at the same time I don't necessarily want to hold up this development. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ Koha-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.koha-community.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/koha-bugs website : http://www.koha-community.org/ git : http://git.koha-community.org/ bugs : http://bugs.koha-community.org/
