On the additems.pl page only the 245a field from the title displays. It would
be helpful to add additional subfields for subtitle (245b), part number (245n)
and part name (245p). Also adding the general material designation (245h) for
libraries that are still using it in their records. Being able to see the
entire title would make cataloging easier, more accurate and more efficient.
Use case: libraries have a lot of repeating titles where the only
distinguishing information is in the subtitle (ex. Dog Man) or part number (ex.
Yellowstone TV series) Seeing only the title info from the 245a on the
additems.pl screen can cause confusion about whether the correct record is
being viewed. This has sometimes led staff to attach items to the incorrect
bib or have to click back to the bib record to verify which Dog Man title they
are viewing.
