It would be very nice if the patron import tool had a built in ability to use
the Koha SMTP settings to send the output of the job to a specified email
address.
Currently most implementations log the output to the file system and then are
sent separately using the system mail configs. It would be better to use the
Koha settings and make the email address configurable through the interface.
