Since 22.11, when system preference OPACSuggestionAutoFill is enabled, when
making a purchase suggestion via the OPAC, the ISBN field is cleared after a
match is found with an existing record. After submitting the suggestion, the
ISBN is also not visible in the Staff client suggestions management which is
very annoying for the staff managing the suggestions.
When making a purchase suggestion in the OPAC directly from an existing record,
it also clears the ISBN from the initial form before submitting the purchase
suggestion. However, when submitting, no matching is done (as the suggestion
was made from an existing record) and the suggestion is immediately placed. In
this case the ISBN is visible in the Staff client, even though it was cleared
in the OPAC form.
