This is a change in behavior that is occurring due to CSRF protection ( Bug
34478 ).
Prior to 24.05:
1. Set timeout to something low for testing.
2. Checkout some items
3. Go to check in screen, wait until you are sure that you'll be timed out.
4. Check an item in
5. You will be forced to login back in, once you've done so the action
completes.
After 24.11:
-At step 5, after logging back in, the check in does not complete and the user
just again check in the item.
