Some libraries request customization of the bibliographic brief record in
catalog results. Usually it is a certain MARC tag that is frequently referenced
but can't be seen until going into the detail view. One example might be the
082, 035, or an RDA tag. These kinds of requests require adding custom code to
control the display. It would be nice if libraries could control that display
themselves through a system preference or maybe in the framework. There could
be limitations to control the total number of added fields to prevent
overwhelming the search results display.
