Cataloging Record and OPAC View of double comma issue
When entering cataloging records for personal name entries (Fields 100, 700,
etc.) that have multiple subfield e relator terms, the OPAC view displays those
terms with double commas between them instead of just one.
Example:
(Cataloging record)
700 1 _ ‡aGibbons,
Dave,‡d1949-‡eillustrator,‡eletterer.‡1https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJfrKF7dFTMJ7brXrMxMT3
-The two ‡e entries have a comma between them according to OCLC Bibformats.
(OPAC view)
Gibbons, Dave, 1949- [illustrator,, letterer.]
-The OPAC view displays this with an extra comma between the two relator terms.
