LOC authority record display
A bibliographic record has a detail view which presents an easy to read
display. A MARC view is available in a separate tab. Authority records, on the
other hand, immediately display the authority record in a tabbed MARC view. It
would be nice if Authority records had a similar type of display as
Bibliographic records in both the staff interface and OPAC.
Library of Congress has a combined view with a brief view that is formatted for
easy reading and a MARC view below (attached screenshot).
