When checking in items using a self-checkout machine via SIP, the changes to
the items are not logged.
For instance, when item A with a notforloan -1 status is checked in via SIP,
its status becomes available, but the change from notforloan -1 to Available is
not logged.
It would be helpful if these types of changes were logged.
