            Bug ID: 41233
Summary: Ability to Customize Card Preview
   Initiative type: ---
        Sponsorship ---
            status:
           Product: Koha
           Version: Main
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5 - low
         Component: Z39.50 / SRU / OpenSearch Servers
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
        QA Contact: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]

I couldn't find any other bugs mentioning this, and I'm not sure if this should
be multiple bugs, but there are a few things we'd like the option to change in
the Card Preview for usability. We are trying to incorporate Z39.50 into all of
our libraries' workflows more consistently and the ability to customize the
Card Preview would be a huge help.

1. When using Card Preview to look at a Z39.50 result, the information there is
pulling from specific MARC tags. For example, publication information is pulled
from the 260, but most records we're looking at use a 264, so there is no
publication information.
2. We aren't interested in some of the notes fields that are brought in, like
Lexile and Accelerated Reader information, so we'd like the option to hide
specific tags from the preview.
3. The subject headings are only pulling subfield $a, and we would like to see
$v information also.
4. The subject headings are included in a string of text at the bottom of the
card that we'd like to parse out/hide some of.

Would it be possible to include any of this as an option in the framework
settings?
