When applying, changing the default column to a non default, I get the issue. But after reverting, restarting services and reloading, I still have the issue. And the "Default sort order" list is still available in the table settings. Without the "Defaut" option. So the cause of the issue of having a 1 offset in which column is sorted is from somewhere else. This patch enabled that config and made visible the issue so that's still a problem.
