This would help with library workflows and reduce clicks, particularly where the circulation desk holds the holds and issues them (where a self-service for waiting holds is not available). Current clicks: - Click the link to the item on the patron's check out or details page - Copy the barcode number from the details column - Go back to the patron's check out page - Paste the link - (Alternatively, click the holds tab, copy from the barcode column, paste into the barcode field) So: 1. Having the barcode on the check out page before the title would be great 2. Making it easier to copy would be excellent 3. Having it populate the barcode field in the check out page for the patron would be even better!
