Bug 28795 seems to be asking for customisable additional fields that libraries can define themselves for managing and describing lists. Bug 38917 is requesting specific fields (expiration date and publication date) that would control when lists are visible in the OPAC, similar to the existing functionality for Pages and News items. From comment 3 on bug 28795, it sounds like that bug is specifically about library-defined custom fields, rather than standard fields common to all lists? Could someone clarify whether expiration/publication dates would fall under the scope of bug 28795, or whether they should remain as a separate enhancement request?
