Not sure how to do step 3 - In your acquisition grid, make sure "barcode" is mandatory. By grid, do you mean the item form. Is this done by updating the framework and making it a required field? Without making the barcode mandatory, I get this error when importing the record - - do I need to delete the existing record? No records have been imported because they all match existing records in your catalog.
