Without the patches, the columns are immediately available again. Same issue but with more details: When toggling AllowHoldItemTypeSelection and looking at a patron's Holds history page (with a hold pending): to make the column reappear I have to logout and login. But it's not needed for making it disappear. (mind the syspref page silently failing due to CSRF mismatch when testing this so you need to refresh it) Without the patches, toggling the syspref is effective without relogging. On another topic, what are the condition to see the supplier report column on page load? (see the effect of force_visibility) Default config is "Is hidden by default" => false. So having the edifact syspref and an EDI account for the vendor should be enough.
