Every time I'm giving training for Koha, I have to say "Import" in the
Z39.50/SRU UI does not actually import your record into Koha. It stages it for
editing. If you don't save the record, it won't be imported - it'll just sit in
the reservoir.
So I think a better label would be "Stage" instead of "Import", but I'm open to
ideas!
