It adds Koha::OpenTelemetry for tracer setup, a Plack middleware that traces requests, DBI instrumentation, a scrubber for bind values, and spans in circulation, the holds queue, import batch, SIP, background jobs, the REST API and Elasticsearch search and indexing. Two sysprefs control it, both off by default. This is a snapshot of the working tree as it stood on 2026-06-04, taken so the work isn't lost. It's unfinished and hasn't been run since: the remaining work is spans for C4::Reports::Guided::execute_query and for plugins.
