Summary: When attempting to export a label batch created directly from Managed
Staged MARC Records, clicking the "Create label batch" button fails
intermittently. The screen blinks/flickers briefly, but no PDF download or
window opens.
Environment:
- Interface: Staff Interface
- Module: Cataloging > Manage Staged MARC Records
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Cataloging > Stage MARC records for import and stage a file.
2. In Manage Staged MARC Records, process the batch to create item records.
3. Click 'Create label batch' directly from the staged records interface.
Observed Result:
The page flickers/flashes once, but no export window opens, and no PDF/CSV file
is downloaded.
Expected Result:
The export modal should open reliably and allow downloading the generated PDF
file.
Additional Notes & Isolation:
- Some batches export to PDF files without issue (the item count doesn't seem
to determine success/failure).
- Manually entering the exact same barcodes into a brand-new Label Batch
created directly inside Label Creator works every time.
