When viewing an acquisitions basket, staff would like to be able to see the
non-public note associated with items linked to each order line.
For EDI orders, information may be supplied by the vendor and mapped into the
item's Non-public note (items.itemnotes_nonpublic). Currently, this information
can be viewed on the individual item record, but it is not available from the
basket's Orders table.
The basket already provides options to display/add the order's internal and
vendor notes. It would be useful to also expose the associated item's
non-public note with the order information.
Use case:
A library receives processing instructions through EDI. For example, a
vendor-supplied value may be mapped from MARC 970$x into the item's Non-public
note. Staff processing the acquisitions basket need to see those instructions
while reviewing the order without navigating to each individual item record.
